We offer turnkey design, manufacturing, and testing services, including the load and pack of munitions, while adhering to stringent design, testing, and compliance standards for Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E). Our capabilities also extend to load, assemble, pack (LAP), and Pilot process development, enabling rapid maturation and transition of programs. Prototyping & Manufacturing
SAVIT offers comprehensive capabilities in prototyping and manufacturing, featuring robust production and rapid prototyping capabilities that cater to diverse project needs. We specialize in computer numerical control (CNC) machining of military and aerospace hardware, ensuring precision in critical components. Our expertise extends to additive and advanced manufacturing techniques, as well as traditional processes such as forgings, castings, stamping, forming, and sheet metal fabrication. We work with both traditional and exotic materials, and our heat treatment process development and execution ensure optimal material performance. Our certified welding services encompass all types of metal-related work, while our injection molded components and electronics manufacturing capabilities support a wide range of applications. We also provide cabling and wiring harnesses, electromechanical systems, and comprehensive plating, finishing, coating, and marking services. With a focus on precision assembly and custom packaging/kit solutions, we excel in manufacturing process development and can accommodate customized limited production runs to meet specific client requirements, ensuring high-quality outcomes tailored to each project.
Testing & Evaluation
SAVIT is equipped with extensive capabilities in inspecting and testing armaments and components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability. We offer third-party inspection services and specialize in quality plan development tailored to meet specific project requirements. Our measurement systems evaluation and automated inspection equipment development enhance our testing processes, while our expertise in both destructive and non-destructive testing guarantees comprehensive assessments of product integrity. We conduct live fire testing, recovery, and data collection, alongside rigorous environmental and functional testing to validate performance under various conditions. Our physical configuration audits (PCA) and mechanical tests—including tensile, compression, bend, peel, and tear—are conducted using standard measuring and test equipment. We implement a Statistical Process Control (SPC) system to monitor and improve quality, and we are proud to be ISO 9001:2015 Certified by NQA and AS9100:2016 Certified by NQA. Our capabilities also extend to electronic board level and system testing, test plan development, and precision electromechanical/optical assembly in our dedicated lab, ensuring that we deliver exceptional quality and performance in all our manufacturing processes.
Analysis
SAVIT offers a comprehensive suite of analysis capabilities designed to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. We specialize in (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) GD&T, and performance specification analysis, ensuring that all components meet stringent design requirements. Our supply chain analysis identifies potential bottlenecks and optimizes logistics, while root cause analysis and corrective actions address any issues that may arise during production. We conduct thorough TDP reviews and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity and performance. Our effective process capability index (Cpk) assessments provide insights into manufacturing consistency, complemented by physical configuration audits and manufacturing system evaluations (MSEs) to ensure compliance with specifications. We perform detailed cost analysis and form/fit/function (F3) reviews to evaluate product viability. Additionally, our environmental testing and studies, safety analysis, and analysis of alternative studies help mitigate risks and enhance decision-making. Our risk reviews and manufacturing process/equipment evaluations further support our commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable products that meet our clients’ needs.
